A giant Cottonwood tree at Little Mountain Park (Klimpke Road and Farmers Avenue) the tree stands alone on the north side of the park on Farmers Avenue, right on the edge of the south side of the road. Theres a suggestion this tree is haunted, that the KKK once used this tree to hang people from. This is the focus of a story for that Winnipeg Parks series, so were looking for something ominous art-wise. The story is scheduled to run on Monday, Aug. 18.
