Patterson School in Clandeboye,Mb. that helped collect 19,282 plastic bags in this year's Bag Up Manitoba- Plastic Bag Roundup Challenge organized by Take Pride Winnipeg and Multi-Material Stewardship Manitoba. The school was presented with a bench for their playground and 50 frisbees all made from recycled plastic bags Thursday. Fourteen benches are being awarded to the top schools of the 134 schools in Manitoba that took part in the challenge.
