With the soccer ball, Asma along with her fellow grade 6 Sister MacNamara School students get an opportunity to play on the large multi-use artificial turf after the dedication ceremony to officially open the University of Winnipeg's UNITED Health & RecPlex Friday. The $40 million facility is the most comprehensive ever built in Winnipeg’s inner city, designed to meet the needs of three main groups: neighbourhood youth and residents; amateur sports organizations requiring rental space; and UWinnipeg students, Wesmen.
