Stdup .The Winnipeg Shuffle is in full effect for pedestrians , main roads are salted but city sidewalks are treacherous with a fresh coat of ice from overnight freezing rain . Road salt has pock marked this area of Portage Ave but walking is still difficult Stdup. Hydro crews are working, knocking ice off the lines to restore electricity to parts of Headingley from the Perimeter Hwy to the townsite along Hwy 1 West , traffic lights are out for that short distance ,the area of Crestview west of Cavalier has power as house lights and street lights are on .
