The system installed by the Assiniboine Park Conservancy last June provides 100 percent of the heating and cooling at the exhibit. The Conservancy received a $105,160 grant under the Manitoba Geothermal Energy Incentive program and is in support of TomorrowNow- Manitoba's Green Plan and Manitoba Clean Energy Strategy, they anticipate a saving of at least $40,000 a year with the geothermal system. see release.
